Pop-Up Garden Official Launch and We Are Open Celebration!!

If you passed 'We Are Open' on Newport Road today you will have seen a very busy team of people preparing the unit for the grand celebration this evening. And if you came in you will have seen just how well the hard work from garden designers Chris Eves and Karen Lewis, and the team of helpers paid off! The We Are Open celebration was a huge success with all the goody bags going within minutes! Not as fast as the food however, that was provided by the lovely people at The Olde Young Tea House! Along with some delicious beverages to boot! And the plants were being sold super fast too!! Lets just hope they don't run out!! Here's some photos of what you missed at the celebration evening (or saw and enjoyed if you were there!), and it's also good to know there's still time for you to get yourself along to bag a beautiful new plant for your garden.

So come along and see what the world of photography has to offer Middlesbrough.

The End...

Saturday 10th July saw the end of ZINE hosted by Peg Powler's very own Rebecca Little and AJ Garrett. Lots and lots of people ventured into the We Are Open unit on Newport Road during the 4 weeks they were in to have a go at making their own Zine, and many have been inspired to take home their newly acquired skills and are making more zines! However, if you didn't get down to make your own, but have questions to ask just search for 'Peg Powler Gallery' on Facebook. Or find out what they're up to and planning next at pegpowler.blogspot.com. Here's some images from Zine:-
